Sneak Peak! New Parts Coming at Ya

We FINALLY bought a CNC Table a few weeks ago, and what fun have we had! It's a Torchmate and we are learning the ins and outs of it, but it is pretty rad and will take your dreams to reality! (Scroll down for pics & video) Rock & Road is working on some new parts so we thought we would give you a sneak peak of what's going on in the shop. Do you ever wish you could make something better, stronger, or even redesign it?  That's how it all starts .... with a problem, an idea, or a goal of improvement. We have a few things in the works right now:
  • Jeep Cherokee XJ Modular Crossmember: This is much stronger made of 1/4" steel and the middle section is easily removable to allow easy access to your transmission. It also will allow future center section options and link mount options.
  • Jeep Wrangler JK Rear Differential Skid Plate for Dana 44 axle: This bolt on rear differential skid plate provides top notch protection for your rear diff housing and underside of your Jeep AND it protects the differential yoke!
  • Jeep Cherokee Rear Differential Skid Plate for Chrystler 8 1/4" Rear Axle

A few rough sketches later and Greg heads over to the computer to design with his CAD program. Take a look below at a diff skid plate & a crossmember being designed on the computer.

 The next step is to transfer it to be cut out with the CNC Table. This saves us so much time instead of having to hand cut around a template! We have no doubt that 1/4" steel will stand the test of time and the brutality you and I encounter on the trail.
